Roger Williamson was an energetic and popular singer-songwriter in the early 70's in Coventry. His reputation
wasn't just limited to Coventry however as this ad for the Troubadour in Melody Maker testifies. Roger was well known on the Midland folk circuit and I saw him often playing at the Cov Arts Umbrella or playing for friends in the coffee bar. READ HIS BIO HERE
Roger also had a band back then called EAST LIGHT Whom I saw at Pete Waterman's Walsgrave gigs. I used to do the door for Pete so have the ticket for that gig.
Roger now lives in Minnesota where he runs the Magus Bookshop and also writes stories.
